EMI Artists Participate in Charity Auction on eBay
EMI Music is one, if not the, biggest music house in the world. Their roster of clients is basically like scrolling through your iPod favorites. And when you have that many talented and powerful people in one place, you can make some big things happen. Take for example the charity endeavor they are about to take on, EMI Family 4 Japan. As we all know, the tsunami in Japan has devastated the lives of thousands of people. But EMI artists are coming out and donating one-of-a-kind collectibles to be auctioned off on eBay where all (yes all) proceeds will go to disaster relief in Japan. Artists involved include Coldplay, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Depeche Mode, 30 Seconds to Mars, The Jonas Brothers and (bow down) Kylie Minogue to name a few. The auction is in two parts, one starting today and ending April 15th and another begins on the 11th and ends on the 21st so look out for your favorite artists' goodies (we want Katy Perry's cupcake trampoline, personally).
