Last season, Marni really blew our socks off. The subtle, color-blocking was subtle, masculine, wearable and versatile. The perfect example of how making a statement does not mean being loud and brash. Designer Consuelo Castiglioni continued her theme of functional, covetable clothing, this time in with a somber palette. Drab olives, rich caramels, blacks and navy blues dominated the collection, with a polka-dot print to break things up. And the shoes and bags? Heavenly. While the label may not have the excess and opulence of over labels, its still one of the most on-the-mark collections out there. We fully endorse.
