Following its successful debut for Holiday 2010, Tommy Hilfiger's TOMMY label showed their spring/summer 2011 collection. It's a decidedly younger, braver vibe than that of the more mature and sophisticated line. There are clearly a lot of nautical influences and a focused and bold use of bright, overly saturated colors. While no stranger to preppiness, this collection definitely brings a sense of whimsy and cheeriness to the label, and also seems to serve as a more experimental think tank where bolder risks can be taken. An added bonus? A fiercely competitive price point that maxes out at $69 for outerwear. Items we're particuarly keen on include the madras pants (which look expertly cut), the nautically striped knits, classic yellow rainslicker and the neon shorts. It's certainly one way to get noticed this summer.
