Well, it was bound to happen. Much like Tim Hamilton and Scott Sternberg before him,Thom Browne, he of the shrunken suit, has expanded his empire of quirky, eccentric menswear to now include some looks from the ladies. The first images that we've gotten our hands on come from Tommy Ton's blog Jak and Jil, and looks pretty fab. Ton doesn't give us a too straightforward of look, but instead focuses some atmospheric, detail-driven images. From what we can gather the clothing looks like it stays in line with Browne's subversive brand of preppiness, focus on patterns and prints, and exaggerated proportions (look at those long pearls!). We can't wait to see more comprehensive images, but this definitely gives us a good starting off point in understanding just who the Thom Browne woman is.
