While Lee is obviously incredibly beautiful and sophisticated, she is by no means in the usual age range of your standard model. But kudos to designer Phoebe Philo for casting her. Philo, much like Alber Elbaz, realizes that her core clientele is likely not in 18-25 year old range, so why not appeal to a more broad range of consumers, including ones with the dough and the life experience to buy your clothing and give them some real joie de vivre? Lee also fits in nicely with Celine's revamped, streamlined aesthetic, and brings a sense of real Upper East Side elegance to the images. Wait, do you smell that? We think there's a trend in the air!
