Margaret Cho is crossbreeding her jokes with her guitar on her newest album, Cho Dependent, a full-on musical affair featuring some of the best singer-songwriters in the business like Ani Difranco, Fiona Apple, Jon Brion, and Patty Griffin. Due out August 24, the album features hilarious ditties like "Eat Shit and Die," (which Margaret told us in a recent interview will be accompanied by a video featuring "California Raisin turd costumes"), "Captain Cameltoe," and "Lesbian Escalation" featuring singer-songwriter Rachael Yamagata.
To celebrate the release of Cho Dependent, Margaret was nice enough to give us -- and all of you -- an exclusive first listen of "Lesbian Escalation":
After you've heard the track, head over to Out.com to check out our video interview with Margaret to find out how she subverted the straight folk in Peachtree City, Georgia, why she loves bears, and more.
For more info on Margaret, Cho Dependent, and a full list of upcoming tour dates, visit her official website.
