Rick Boardman, who plays synths, and Matt Cocksedge, who plays guitar in the Manchester, U.K.-based band Delphic, stopped by the Out studio a few weeks ago. We chatted with the two (who make up half of the band, which came in third on the BBC Sound of 2010 list) about being inspired to start their music careers after deciding Radiohead had a pretty cool job, putting the soul in soulless music, and making people dance and cry at the same time:
