PBS
So, a PBS documentary claims that Warhol and other big-name artists back in the day all did special sketches that were shrunk down and etched on a postage stamp-sized chip, which was the Apollo 12 astronauts sneaked to the moon. The work -- by Robert Rauschenberg, David Novros, John Chamberlain, Claes Oldenburg, chip designer Forrest Myers, and Andy -- was taken there and back in 1969.
Now, we love art, but more than that, we love cheeky penis art -- even though the one top left on the chip is a micro one. Of course, the design is supposedly meant to be Warhol's "AW" signature, but we know he knew what he was really drawing...
So, is it real? PBS thinks maybe so, and the guy who bought it at an auction said he thought the seller was a relative of a NASA engineer. There are supposed to be 15 other copies out there. So next time you're at a stoop sale, keep your eyes out for a tiny pee-pee.
