Riddle me this, loyal Popnog readers: Why, oh why can't a diva release an album without fabricating a ridiculously moniker-ed alter ego to peddle it? Beyonce has Sasha Fierce, Mariah has Mimi, Janet has Damita Jo, Ciara has Super C and now -- are you ready for this? -- Jennifer Lopez has Lola.

Jenny, I mean, Lola From The Block is gearing up to release a new album featuring collaborations with a who's who of the industry -- including Danja, Darkchild, Jim Jonsin, Stargate, Rock City and supposedly, Red One -- and her first single, "Fresh Out The Oven" with Pitbull (above) just leaked.

On second thought, if I was still attempting a career in music after putting out that mess "Dear Ben," -- and promoting a track with a title that sounds like a jingle for Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, no less -- I'd probably want to do it under a different name, too. Or maybe -- like all of us -- she's just wishing she had the life of Lourdes "Lola" Ciccone.
