Unlike the three contestants who came before him, Project Runway Season 4 winner Christian Siriano is seemingly here to stay. While obscurity has swallowed past winners, Siriano is carving a path through the fashion industry by showing respectable collections, creating his own company, and garnering praise from fans and critics alike.
At the tender age of 22, the spritely designer has taken the reigns of his career with full force and shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Despite his hectic schedule Siriano took some time to chat with Out's Tim Murphy to discuss his tireless work ethic:
"My life is either red carpets or work. So sad."
his tranny fans:
"I've been to a lot of gay bars, and let me tell you, the first people that run up to me are the diva drag queens and trannies and they want a picture."
and, of course, that now ubiquitous catchphrase:
"I still say 'fierce' all day long when I'm talking about my clothes."
Read the full interview here. Tonight's finale starts at 9pm (Christian is rooting for Leanne), and the DVD set for season 4 comes out November 4.
