Spears Storms Off 'X Factor,' Nobody’s Surprised

In a completely predictable and totally expected move, Britney Spears reported'y walked out of auditions for the reality talent show X Factor during a recent round in Austin, Tex.

The diva reportedly walked out midway through the show after a contender "butchered" her hit, "Hold It Against Me."

Four more contestants auditioned and still Spears was nowhere to be found. After the audience started wondering where she'd gone, it was revealed that she hadn't stormed off, but "just took a short break."

The pop star, who's slowly trying to move back into the public eye, then tweeted, "#Britneywalksoff??? LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!"

Spears makes up a quarter of the X Factor judging panel, working alongside Demi Lovato, LA Reid, and Simon Cowell. (She recently tweeted the photo of the judges panel below.) She's allegedly signed up for a one-year contract for $15 million.

According to one source, her contract does have an option for a second season, however Spears is still under a conservatorship and cannot make any business decisions on her own behalf.
