Soap star James Sutton is the latest celeb to dip their toe into making content for OnlyFans.
The 43-year-old actor, best known for his role as groundbreaking gay character John Paul McQueen on the British soap Hollyoaks, announced that he has joined the popular adult content site after spending nearly two decades on the long-running show.
Sutton’s Hollyoaks character came out in 2006 and had a pioneering gay relationship with Craig Dean, later married Ste Hay, and had a conversion therapy plot line.
Sutton called the switch from soap acting to OnlyFans the "natural next step for me." He joins the ranks of other actors and athletes who have joined the site, including his former Hollyoaks co-star Sarah Jayne Dunn, who quit the show after she refused to leave OnlyFans.
"It gives me the freedom to share more of who I am, beyond the characters I once played, and to connect with those fans that have supported me throughout my career," Sutton said of his decision in an interview with The Daily Mail.
Checking out Sutton’s new content will run you $15.99 per month and will get you access to his work as a writer and keynote speaker as well as his gym content. He will also star in an original show for the platform’s safe-for-work channel.
Sutton, who left Hollyoaks to launch the self-help platform Protocol, described himself in his OF bio as an "Actor. Writer. Speaker. Mindset. Identity. Fitness. Very often undressed," and promised subscribers "unfiltered access to his training sessions, programming breakdowns, physical changes, and the reality of maintaining a strong body in your forties."
