Cher's ABBA Album Dancing Queen is Coming in September

Anyone disappointed by how underused Cher was in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again will be very happy this September, because Cher has announced that her ABBA tribute album will drop next month. Unlike the musical sequel, Dancing Queen features bops and bops only, thank god Cher. Warner Bros. Records announced that the album will drop September 28 and Cher teased her rendition of "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" on Twitter -- the 40 second clip is somehow better than the entirety of the Mamma Mia sequel.

According to Cher herself: "I've always liked Abba and saw the original Mamma Mia musical on Broadway three times. After filming Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, I was reminded again of what great and timeless songs they wrote and started thinking 'why not do an album of their music?' The songs were harder to sing than I imagined but I'm so happy with how the music came out. I'm really excited for people to hear it. It's a perfect time."
