Michelle Williams Will Star in Lin-Manuel Miranda's Bob Fosse Series

Michelle Williams will star in an upcoming FX limited series about legendary director-choreographer Bob Fosse produced by Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda. Get those jazz hands ready!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fosse/Verdon will be based on the biography Fosse by Sam Wasson, which dives in-depth into the relationship between Fosse and Broadway dancer Gwen Verdon. "He was a filmmaker and one of theater's most influential choreographers and directors; she was the greatest Broadway dancer of all time," said HR. "Together, they changed the face of American entertainment -- at a perilous cost. The series will feature Fosse's choreography and explore the hidden corners of showbiz, the price of pursuing greatness and the suffering inflicted in the name of art."

The eight-episode series will star Sam Rockwell as Fosse and Dear Evan Hansen's Steven Levenson will serve as showrunner.
