Broadway’s skimpiest came together to fight AIDS.
For this year's edition of Broadway Bares, the annual charity spectacle that helps raise money for the fight against AIDS, it was one big game. Putting a tantalizing, strip-tease-filled spin on the traditional game night, stars of the stage lit up the Hammerstein Ballroom as they stripped down for a good cause.
Directed by Nick Kenkel, co-choreographer of Half Time at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Laya Barak, a dancer and choreographer whose work has appeared in the last four editions of Broadway Bares, the evening brought together some of the best and sexiest contemporary Broadway has to offer.

The Boys in the Band showed up and showed off, with Matt Bomer, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesus, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins all appearing as special guests and partaking in a game of strip trivia that left Carver in the buff.
Summer Tony Nominee Ariana DeBose, The Phantom of the Opera's Jay Armstrong Johnson, Escape to Margartiaville's Alison Luff and Rema Webb, recent Kinky Boots star Kristin Maldonado, Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita, Mean GirlsTony nominee Ashley Park, SpongeBob SquarePants' Wesley Taylor, and two-time Tony winner Judith Light were also in attendance.
"We are living in challenging and complicated times," said Light during the show's close. "But I look out at this beautiful audience, I know our voices will not be silenced. We must remember that safe is hot sex. Know your status. Testing and treatment equals preventions. Undetectable equals untransmittable. We can best love each other by protecting each other." This year's Broadway Bares raised $1,875,090 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Watch a recap of all the excitement, below.
