Sarah Paulson & Cate Blanchett Hilariously Derail Today Interview

Sarah Paulson could be onto something here. After regaling Jimmy Fallon earlier in the Ocean's 8 press tour with tales of her own Met Gala experiences, the actress, partnered with co-star Cate Blanchett, completely disrupted what was sure to another rigid, repetitive interview on Today with host Hoda Kotb.

Here in the Age of the Internet, there are only so many things that actors and actresses can talk about from one particular film without giving anything away spoilers. Once a handful of interviews are done and posted online, fans don't necessarily want to hear manufactured answers to cookie-cutter questions ad nauseum.

Enter Paulson and Blanchett. The pair completely disregarded the traditional question/answer interview format and instead just bantered for the majority of the time, causing Kotb's mascara to run from laughing so much and having her call in co-host Savannah Guthrie for backup.
