Fresh off adding "Oscar winner" to his resume, Guillermo del Toro is lending his phantasmagorical imagination to Netflix for the streaming giant's first ever horror series.

There's little information this early in the project's planning, but Netflix has revealed that the Shape of Water director will oversee 10 After Midnight, a "collection of personally curated stories, that are both equally sophisticated and horrific." Del Toro himself will write and direct some of the premiere season's episodes while other horror sages dole out their expertise for the rest.
Though a release date has yet to be announced, this tease is more than enough to excite fans. Looking back on the whimsical, fantastical drama of films like Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy, and The Shape of Water, this new project is sure to be mesmerizing.
