The ‘Broad City’ Girls Channel Our Founding Mothers on 'Late Show'

Abbi and Ilana on Colbert

This is mother-butter hilarious.

Hillary Clinton made herstory this week as the first woman to accept a presidential nomination from a major political party. After waiting 240 years for this groundbreaking milestone, it makes us wonder what the women of 1776 would think about this moment.

Thanks to Stephen Cobert, we don't have to wonder any longer.

The "Late Show" host invited two women delegates at the Second Continental Congress in 1776 to join his show via satellite. According to Colbert, the women were Josephine Henley and Abitha Whitmore, though they definitely resembled Ilana Glazer and Abbi Jacobson from "Broad City."
