Ben's Brother, founded and fronted by Jamie Hartman, which has enjoyed great success in the U.K., is just now breaking into the U.S. music scene. Aided by the standout single "Stalemate," which features Joss Stone and is taken from the album Battling Giants, the band was introduced on this side of the pond via The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Wendy Williams Show, and The CBS Early Show -- a virtually unheard of line up of big name television shows for such a relatively unknown group to secure.
We caught up with Hartman to chat about how the band got its unusual name, cutting major label ties and going out on their own, and collaborating with a who's who of the music industry including Jason Mraz, Anastacia, and Natalie Imbruglia:
