Season 17 of RuPaul's Drag Race had plenty of iconic moments, but there's no denying that Suzie Toot, Kori King, and Lydia B. Kollins made quite an impact throughout the competition.
From Toot's quirky personality to the beginnings of King and Kollins' adorable relationship, the trio formed a strong bond as they filmed the popular show. Last year, the group decided to create their own comedy tour ButtTootKing, which took them around the world in front of countless sold-out crowds.
Just in time for Halloween, the queens are reuniting for the second year of ButtTootKing and promising plenty of camp as they hit the road on a nationwide tour across the United States.
"Nothing matches the excitement of ButtTootKing! Down with Republicans! It is a very queer show. We have the three corners of the queer community in this show. We have Suzie with queer people, Kori with lesbians, and me with women! This show is well representative of who we are as a community," Kollins says.
"Our show is very silly and weird by design. It's meant to keep a queer spirit and mentality. The ability to escape for a couple of hours is very sacred to all three of us, as well as the audiences. It felt very pivotal last year, so I'm so excited to feel that release and escape again this year," Toot adds.
Fans can certainly expect ridiculous humor and hilarious banter between the three queens each stop of the tour. Who knows? Maybe one of Kori King's alter egos will make an appearance. After all, the group agrees that Kori Jackson got future casts of RuPaul's Drag Race banned from future appearances at the Primetime Emmy Awards.
"Kori Jackson might the reason they're not coming back! How can you top that? Meg Stalter held the torch up for us, so we can skip a year. Everybody lived! Everyone wanted a picture with me. They thought I was hired talent. The bar loved me! I held someone's Emmy! You can't take that away from me," King says.
"I believe it! I was by her side practically that whole day and I can almost guarantee you that Kori Jackson is the reason why queens are no longer there," Toot adds.
Despite the chaos they're bringing to the entertainment industry, all three queens have built a tight connection as they navigate fame post Drag Race. Plus, King and Kollins are still going strong in their relationship despite their continued success and packed schedules.
"Every time Kori leaves the house, I have to lock myself in a padded room so I don't get too sad. When I'm out on the road or when he's out on the road, I am just in shambles. I hate spending time alone! Thankfully, we get to watch Housewives together when we're done with the work," Kollins says.
"It takes a really strong sense of self and confidence in your relationship. I think we're doing great," King adds.
