She's also launching a new dating app for people like her.

Rebel Wilson is happier than ever, but that doesn’t mean her life has been perfect.

The Australian actor opened up about a challenge she’s been facing since coming out on the Life Uncut podcast.

“My whole family has just been amazing,” she began, “Ramona’s family hasn’t been as accepting. And so in many respects, it has been a lot harder on her to have to make the news public.”

“With her, she’s not in the public eye, it’s much harder on her,” she continued. “It’s so sad to see what happened with her family over it. Hopefully, people will change their attitude about things.”

Wilson came out last summer after the Sydney Morning Herald contacted her to let her know it was going to publish a story about her relationship with Agruma.

“I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince,” Wilson captioned a picture of her and Agruma on Instagram. “But maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess.”

Wilson welcomed another member to her family when she had her first child, named Royce, via surrogate.

Now, apart from acting, Wilson is also working on a new dating app, one that she says she wished she had when she was trying to figure out her sexuality.

Fluid is a new dating app where you don’t label your sexuality or define what type of people you’re looking for, and Wilson is one of the cofounders.

“What's really cool is, it's open to everyone," Wilson said. “You might just be interested in checking out a wider dating pool like I was. It covers a lot of the LGBTQIA+ spectrum, but I think even if you're straight you could use the app and have an amazing time.”

“Something like this would have really helped me and maybe I would have stumbled upon a female’s profile and been like, ‘OK, maybe I do want to message them,’” Wilson added. “I totally would have joined up for Fluid because you don't have to label yourself in any way. You just see who you connect with. I know that, to me, it doesn't matter about the gender, it just matters about the person.”
