Max Emerson & Andrés Camilo Are Engaged After Cute Surprise Proposal
Congratulations are in order to the new fiancés!
For years now, Max Emerson and Andrés Camilo have been one of the most popular LGBTQ+ couples on social media. Well, it seems like the couple is now ready to take their relationship to a new level.
In a video shared to Instagram, Emerson is seen asking Camilo to join him on stage. Emerson first jokes that he’s auctioning Camilo himself, with bids starting at $500. However, things quickly take a turn when Emerson begins to open his heart and share how he feels about Camilo.
“I wanted to say something to you in front of all these people,” Emerson tells Camilo while they are both on stage. “I wanted to say that every day you fill my heart with gratitude and words cannot express how much gratitude I have for you. There’s not enough time in the world to thank you for the sacrifices you made to being a part of my life for making a life together.
Emerson continues, “So I would like to give you something that expresses the profoundness of how I feel, [which] I cannot express verbally, in front of all of our friends and chosen family here in New York. I offer you my lifelong commitment to you and to the family that we're going to bring together.”
Emerson then gets to his knees and proposes, to which Camilo says, “Yes.” The crowd cheers loudly, and the newly-engaged couple share a kiss.
Camilo celebrated his birthday just a few days after their engagement, with Emerson noting that this was the seventh birthday of his that they were spending together.
We are so happy and excited for Emerson and Camilo to enter this new stage in their lives together. Congratulations to the couple!
