Could a Modern Family reunion be in the works?

Jesse Tyler Ferguson is just one of the recognizable actors that entertained audiences for eleven years as Mitchell Pritchett on the hit show.

Now, the actor is reuniting with some of his costars and many of other recognizable celebrities on his new podcast Dinner's on Me. Each episode, Ferguson and his guest visit a delicious hotspot in New York City or Los Angeles and have a candid conversation while enjoying a perfect meal.

"Most of my guests have been in pop culture or the restaurant industry. I want you to feel like you're a fly on the wall of two friends having dinner together, or you're the third chair at our table. I really want you to feel like you're part of the dinner itself," Ferguson tells Out.

The Modern Family star kicked off his podcast with one of his all time favorite people, his on-screen sister Julie Bowen. Other celebrities that have already appeared on the podcast include Kristen Bell, Jesse Williams, Fred Armisen, and more.

"I feel like people really open up in a very unique way when you're having a meal with someone. It doesn't feel structured. It doesn't feel like an interview. It just feels like a conversation. We try and keep the mouth sounds to a minimal, but we have a meal together!"

Modern Family fans can also be rest assured that more of Ferguson's famous costars will pop up in upcoming episodes.

"I do have another costar confirmed in a few weeks. I don't want to say who it is. I want to keep it a surprise, but I would love to get the entire cast on, truly."

Even though the show wrapped up in the early days of the pandemic, Ferguson is grateful that fans of the show can still resonate with the diverse characters and personal storylines seen in the show.

"It was a part I greatly enjoyed doing. It's incredibly meaningful to me. The country went through a big shift during that time. I do feel like the show itself became this pop culture touchstone. There's certainly a lot of good that came out of us being on television, that helped move those conversations along. I wish that there had been a show like Modern Family on when I was young. I love that I can be that for generations to come."
