Less than 24 hours after news broke that Drake Von was arrested on domestic battery charges for allegedly strangling his partner, the adult film star is claiming the whole thing was a "publicity stunt."

The 23-year-old star, whose legal name is Dawson Bacon, was arrested in Las Vegas on June 2, according to court records obtained by TMZ. He is now allegedly facing charges of felony domestic battery by strangulation, felony coercion constituting domestic violence with threat or use of physical force, and misdemeanor domestic battery.

In an exclusive statement sent to Out, Von says that all charges against him "will be dropped and [the] case dismissed" and that reports to the contrary are false. “I’m very good mentally. This was all a publicity stunt,” Von tells Out.

After his arrest, a video was posted by the gay adult news site Str8Up allegedly showing Von in a confrontation with another person involving a knife.

In the clip, Von is allegedly seen approaching someone holding a camera. The person behind the camera can be heard repeatedly saying, "Back the fuck up," while Von says, "Come here bitch."

As Von approaches them, the person appears to be holding a knife and threatens to stab him. Von continues to walk toward them, getting in their personal space, and says, "You’re not going to stab shit."

In response to all of the social media backlash, Von says the video circulating online is a "fake video that's old as hell [and] completely unrelated to this 'incident'" and that his "future is bright. I’m gonna stay on my grind!"

Te adult film star also posted a shirtless mirror selfie with a cheeky caption on June 4, implying that he’s out of jail and doing well. The Instagram post, made Thursday morning, shows Von sticking his tongue out with the caption “Feeling good,” followed by the woozy face emoji.

Von’s arrest came on the same day as the finale episode of OUTtv's Ultimate Boys Trip, the new reality series where he made his television debut alongside fellow adult film stars Max Konnor, Boomer Banks, and Joey Mills.
