In addition to the tantalizing photo, PETA released a behind-the-scenes video featuring an interview with Cumming talking about his veganism and the photoshoot.

“I think it’s the first time I’ve been naked in an East Village restaurant – let’s leave it at that,” he jokes in the video while sitting nude on a couch with a plate of donuts in his lap.

“My favorite vegan option, if I’m looking at a menu, I would probably go for the sides,” he says later. “I’m kind of a sides man in those situations.”

The Schmigadoon! star also revealed his surprising inspiration behind becoming vegetarian.

“The reason I became vegan is because Mike Tyson is a vegan. And I thought, ‘If Mike Tyson can do it, surely I can,’” he joked.

“If someone is questioning being vegan, I would say to them, 'Don't be ridiculous. Do it. It's much, much easier than you think,'" he said about anyone considering the lifestyle. "We're not living in the Dark Ages anymore. You can totally function. I've had lots and lots of delicious vegan meals over the years."

He also played the classic game “F*ck, Marry, Kill” with a plate covered in fruits and vegetables. “I think I’d f*ck the croissant,” he said, picking up a pastry from a different plate. “I think I’d marry the bananas because they’re constant, they’re reliable, they’re there for you.”
