The country star showed his Pride over the weekend.

Grand Marshal realness!

T.J. Osborne was named Grand Marshal at the 2022 Nashville Pride Festival and attended the event alongside his boyfriend Abi Ventura.

Osborne came out as gay in February 2021 and introduced Ventura as his boyfriend later that year. As a huge name in Nashville for being a part of the country duo Brothers Osborne with his brother John Osborne, T.J. was a very obvious name for serving as Grand Marshal at Nashville Pride.

On Instagram, Osborne shared a few pictures of his experience at Nashville Pride and wrote:

"[It] was an honor to be the Grand Marshal at this year's [Nashville Pride Festival]. Thanks to all my friends who came out and supported me."

The second picture in Osborne's Instagram carousel featured the country star holding hands with his boyfriend while they walked backstage at Nashville Pride. The third picture in the carousel showed Osborne with another big celebrity who was booked for the event - Leslie Jordan.

All things considered, Osborne is clearly breaking boundaries in the country genre for being an out and proud gay man. He is also not hiding his relationship with Ventura nor playing it down, which is a quite historic thing for a male country singer to do in 2022.

In an industry - and music genre - that can still be rather straight, white male-oriented, Osborne is doing a lot of work just by being himself and living his life unapologetically.
