JoJo Siwa has confirmed that she and Kylie Prew are no longer a couple.
"I have yet to talk about this officially, publicly, but we broke up," Siwa told Paris Hilton on the This is Paris podcast on Tuesday, according to Page Six. "But she is literally still my best friend. I talked to her yesterday. She just got a new puppy. She's awesome. She's having the time of her life, I'm having the time of my life."
Siwa added that the breakup was a case of "right person, wrong time." "I'm really lucky that I didn't lose her completely because, you know, even though relationships end, friendships don't have to end."
She admitted that having such a hectic schedule at her young age contributed to the breakup. The star is currently competing (and slaying) on Dancing with the Stars, has a reality show, Siwa's Dance Pop Revolution, and is working on several other projects.
"I was very happy that it can be, because that's all I wanted. But I"m really happy that I can remember all the fun times, all the good times, and nothing bad happened."
Siwa first introduced the internet, and the world, to her ex-girlfriend Prew back in February, shortly after she came out. "After being my best friend for over a year, on January 8th, 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my girlfriend," Siwa posted on Instagram at the time. "Since then I've been the happiest I have ever been! She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more every day!"
The two regularly posted adorable pics and videos of them having fun together going on dates, or to Disneyland, or just hanging out. Back in July, the couple even celebrated their six-month anniversary.
Fans learned that the couple had split up on October 21, two weeks after the breakup reportedly happened.
