11 Trans Comedians We Love Who Are Way Funnier Than Dave Chappelle
These comedians show that it's possible to tell funny jokes about trans people!
Ask most trans people and they'll tell you that being trans is one of the most absurd and hilarious things you can do or be. Because of that, we make really great comedians.
While some people claim that trans people can't take a joke, many of us are actually way funnier than a lot of famous comedians. And all of us are way funnier than cis comedians when it comes to talking about trans issues. Dave Chappelle may be the biggest name in comedy to address trans issues, he's not only woefully misinformed and ignorant about trans people, but he's also embarrassingly unfunny about us.
So, if you want to hear some actually funny jokes about gender, or about baseball, or movies, or being Asian-American, or visiting your parents, or anything else comedians joke about, here are eleven of our favorite trans comedians!
1. Jes Tom
Jes Tom is a hilarious actor, writer, and comedian who tells great jokes about sex, life, pop culture, and identity. Follow them on Twitter or Instagram.

5. RB Butcher
RB Butcher is a nonbinary trans guy living in Los Angeles. He's a great standup and actor, and also up until recently, hosted the baseball podcast Three Swings. You can follow Butcher on Twitter and on Instagram.
6. Patti Harrison
Patti Harrison is, without a doubt, one of the funniest people alive. The comedian, writer, and actress has appeared in Shrill, starred in the movie Together, Together, and lends her voice and writing talent to shows like G-Force and Big Mouth. If you aren't already familiar, follow her on Instagram.
