Adam Rippon is amazing at what he does. If you weren't sure about that, Celebrity Family Feud host Steve Harvey, wanted to let you know
"Yo ass can skate boy," Harvey said while introducing the Olympian on a Sunday night broadcast of the game show. "I'm a sports guy, I watch everything, the Olympics just being one. This dude was out here man .... They ripped you off because you were really better than .. seriously man!"
"Why weren't you on the panel then?" Rippon asked. .
Rippon brought in his mother, brother, sister, and best friend to compete on Celebrity Family Feud against football legend Terry Bradshaw. While Bradshaw kept the crowd laughing the whole show, the Rippon crew seemed like they were going to take home the win in a clean sweep.
Adam got things off to a good start, securing the first round by answering "smile" to the question of "what men think is their most seductive feature." His brother, Brady, kept up the momentum by answering "beach" -- which oddly got changed to sprinklers -- when asked "what would people love to run naked through." And though his mom didn't necessarily do them any favors by answering "soup" to the question of "name a food that's as bitter as your ex-wife," his sister, Dagny, saved the day with "lemons."
That's three straight rounds and the Bradshaw gang hadn't put a single point on the board.
But in the fourth round, though Dagny answered "career" when asked what's "something you should choose wisely in life," she was beat out by Rachel Bradshaw, who answered "spouse." And this, my friends, was the beginning of the end.
That particular round was worth triple points, and the Bradshaw family came back to beat out the Rippons.
On Celebrity Family Feud, the teams play to benefit select charities, and Rippon chose GLAAD. Though his team didn't ultimately win, Harvey announced that the organization would still receive a donation for the skater's appearance anyway.
