What do you do when you literally dress up as other people for a living, and Halloween comes around? Well, you pull multiple looks, sis! That's what you do -- and that's what Gus Kenworthy did. After turning up for 2019's first Halloween weekend as a skeleton in a suit, the actor put on a "one-woman show" for the second Weekend. The stars? Characters from American Horror Story: 1984, the show on which he plays Chet Chancy.
Not all of us have the benefit of a hair and makeup team, as well as stylists, but Kenworthy does, and put them to work. Climbing in and out of his costars' stunt doubles wigs, Kenworthy turned into seven characters on the show -- including his own. All in a day's work.
"Love you Gus Kenworthy," Angelica Ross, who plays Donna Chambers on the show, wrote in a comment. "Side note: Dear white people, this is how you pay homage to Black characters without doing blackface! Thank you for coming to my TED Talk!"
Take a look at some of our favorite recreations, and the requisite shirtless in-between moments, below -- oh, and as a bonus, the actor and a group of friends recreated a few ... ahem, positions, we know well.
The group recreates "a facial, doggy style, reverse cowgirl, and missionairy," respectively according to an Instagram post.
