Happy Friday Out readers!

Do you need a movie recommendation? Out's got you!

If you want to head to the theaters to see something, we've got reviews of both Ryan Coogler's Sinners and Andrew Ahn's The Wedding Banquet.

We gave both movies five out of five stars, saying about The Wedding Banquet: "This is what real love and family look like. In a time when half the country is trying to dictate what families can look like, The Wedding Banquet throws all of that out with its radical approach to love, connection, and joy. We can all build a family that feels right for ourselves."

As for Sinners, we called the best blockbuster of 2025 so far, and said "Sinners is a special movie. It's not only one of the most fun and inventive blockbusters in a while, but it also has real meat on its bones. This is a movie packed with both entertainment value and messages."

If you want to enjoy a film from the comfort of your home, we've also got plenty of suggestions!

Want a great lesbian film to watch? We've got lists of the best lesbian films from each of the past 20 years, and another list of lesbian movies you haven't seen but should check out!

We also have new lists of queer Asian-American movies, movies featuring queer weddings, movies that serve as the finale for a TV show, and a list of queer movies that are perfect to watch with straight people.
