'Drag Race Down Under' Announces Guest Judges — Kylie Minogue Included

RuPaul and Kylie Minogue

Ok but what about Courtney Act?

Welcome back to RuPaul's Out dot com where we write about all the news in the ever-growing world of RuPaul's Drag Race.

After the American version announced its superlative winners for season 13 -- ahead of Friday's finale -- the Down Under iteration has let out the names of at least a few guest judges.

According to a new report from EW, Kylie Minogue will be a guest judge. Her sister Dannii Minogue as well as Taika Waititi are also set to guest judge. That's only three judges for the full season so that could either mean they are adapting a structure like the latest season of Drag Race wherein judges repeat, or there's a few more names coming.

"I'm so excited to finally be a part of RuPaul's Drag Race for the first series [of] Down Under," Kylie said in a statement. "It's such an iconic show and I can't wait to watch the contestants perform their hearts out to win the title of Down Under's first Drag Superstar!"

According to the report, the appearances happened virtually.

"I got to have a cheeky Untucked chat with the girls on RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under season 1," Dannii said in a statement. "They had come straight from the runway challenge so it was exciting and tense all at the same time, not knowing who was going to have to lip sync for their life!"

While that may be a few names off of the dream lists of fans, there's one big one that has yet to be announced: Courtney Act. A former Drag Race contestant, Act has made herself into an international celebrity appearing on and hosting other reality shows. Hopes aren't high that she would actually be a judge though given that no other drag performer has appeared in drag on the panel alongside Ru.
