Refinery29’s Guide to Snagging The Sartorialist’s Eye

The first time I 'bumped' into Scott Schuman, I was desperately dodging in and out of the Soho boutiques offering free A.C. Had it not been for my vest, hiding the unsightly drenched white dress shirt underneath, exposing the translucent peach hue of my skin, might as well have beckoned a bright yellow 'biohazard' triangle taped to my back. But, I was well dressed - mind you - and cockily greeted The Sartorialist with a full-throated 'Hello!' During our brief conversation, his focus quickly shifted to his camera's dials and buttons. My heart jumped and I mentally flipped through pigeon toed poses, until he abruptly extended his hand and bid a pithy farewell.

So being that The Sartorialist wasn't having any of my wardrobe, I couldn't resist sharing Refinery29's ingenious satirical guide that distills the fashion photographer's habits.
