As soon as Jera got off the catwalk, Owens knocked some sense into him -- literally. "It's a crazy, rogue, fucking model that I punched when he came back out," Owens told WWD. "Please say that I punched him."
According to Owens, Jera has been his male muse for the past 12 years -- in fact, Jera's was one of said dicks on display last season -- but Owens was "furious" that the model "felt comfortable enough" to pull the protest stunt.
The House of Owens almost immediately issued a statement condemning the model's act:
Rick Owens does not claim responsibility for the act of protest by a model at the Spring Summer 2016 show. This was an independent statement and does not reflect the opinion of the house of Rick Owens.
Jera's agency, Tomorrow Is Another Day, was also quick to distance itself from the model. They dropped him from their roster, with the agency's founder calling his former client's actions "so disrespectful."
So I guess tomorrow really isn't another day -- at least not for one model citizen.
