The designer-turned-performer takes the stage at the famed Upper East Side venue starting January 31.

It's no secret Isaac Mizrahi has made an elegant crossover from his fashion empire into the world of entertainment: he's a weekly judge on Project Runway: All-Stars, star of the fashion documentary Unzipped, and a cabaret performer at venues including Joe's Pub and City Winery.

Now, Mizrahi will conquer another stage: that of the famed Cafe Carlyle on Manhattan's Upper East Side, in his new revue, Does This Song Make Me Look Fat? He'll take the same stage that's been inhabited by Woody Allen for Monday night jazz sessions, and legendary cabaret names like Richard Rodgers and Bobby Short.

The show will include renditions of numbers like "Lotus Blossom," "Figure Eight," and "Baubles, Bangles and Beads," and Mizrahi also plans to regift some items he's ready to be rid of--mostly stuff he's gotten in gift bags at events that he doesn't want. The designer-turned-performer will also recount stories from his past, with embellishment for effect only when absolutely necessary (often).

Does This Song Make Me Look Fat? runs from January 31 through February 11 at Cafe Carlyle, located at 35 East 76th Street. Tickets are available here.
