It's time to say bonjour to a whole new set of Queens!
Following lots of rumors and chatter, RuPaul's Drag Race has officially announced that the franchise will be heading to France for its next spin-off!
World of Wonder, the production company behind the hit series, broke the news this week on Twitter, writing: "Casting has officially begun for [Drag Race France]. If you have the Charisma, Uniqueness, Nerve, and Talent to become France's Next Drag Superstar, apply today! Coming soon, full availability TBA."
Though the show is still in the beginning stages of production, fans can expect the same fierce competition that they know and love from the original, Emmy-winning American series, RuPaul's Drag Race.
The show will be joining an acclaimed list of international spin-offs from the franchise, including Drag Race Thailand, RuPaul's Drag Race UK, RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under, Canada's Drag Race, Drag Race Holland, and Drag Race Espana.
While it might seem like the new series is a ways away, Drag Race fans will have plenty to hold them over! Drag Race Italia will premiere on November 18 and Drag Race Philippines is rumored to premiere sometime in 2022!
