You'd better shout, you'd better cry, you'd better pout, I'm telling you why: Satan is coming to Netflix! That's right, witches -- Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is returning less than two months after the show premiered, with a spooky holiday special.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale follows the Spellman clan as they celebrate the Winter Solstice, their coven's pagan take on "Yule." Yule is the longest night of the year, "when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories." In the vein of A Christmas Carol, Sabrina is going to get very spirited this season -- who doesn't love a good Christmas ghost story? It looks like the holiday special will pick up where season one left off, with the newly-platinum Sabrina once again juggling her witch life and mortal life -- but this time, there'segg nog! Not to mention, Twitter's newly-crowned "white boy of the month" Ross Lynch is back as the dreamy Harvey Kinkle. (Can I please get him wrapped up under my tree -- oh wait, I'm on PrEP!)
Over the weekend, the trailer for part two of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina was released officially, giving us a glimpse of the show's next installment, which features an homage to the original '90s series' iconic outfit-changing opening sequence. All you little witches will be happy to know you won't have to wait a year or more for the new season: Sabrina will make her return in April 2019.
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale drops on Netflix December 14.
