Mischa Barton is Joining The Hills Revival

Laguna Beach, the MTV reality series that spawned The Hills, was touted as "the real O.C." and claimed to be a realistic (lol) version of the fantasy world of skinny, tan rich kids depicted on The O.C. The Hills is returning to MTV and is hoping to merge fact and fiction -- or dramatized fact and fiction -- by having The O.C. star Mischa Barton join the cast.

Is the simulation glitching? Did I smoke too much weed? Is Lauren Conrad somehow behind this? Will Barton be killed off The Hills: New Beginnings the same way she was killed off The O.C.? Will "Unwritten" still be the theme song? These questions and more will hopefully be answered when The Hills revival premieres in early 2019.
