Netflix has quickly become Marvel's home away from home. When a new Avengers film or any of its satellite standalones aren't dominating the box office, something series-related is usually happening at Netflix.

The streaming service's latest addition to its super-powered lineup is Iron Fist, which follows Danny Rand (Finn Jones) returning to New York City to reclaim a position in his family's company after being presumed dead for 15 years. In that time, Rand has become a living weapon as the Iron Fist and must choose between his family's legacy and his duty to fight against a long-destined enemy.
Iron Fist will join Netflix's other Marvel franchises--Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage--as part of the company's new vision of The Defenders, which will act like a New York-centric coalition of superheroes that faces off against a villainous Sigourney Weaver later this year.
