It wouldn't be the final season of Girls if our four protagonists (can they even be called that?) weren't all mired in the same overlapping mess that's had us coming back since episode one. In the latest trailer we see all four girls still chipping away at their biggest conflicts and character flaws - Hannah has yet to achieve her writerly New York City dreams, Marnie is an all-around terrible person, Shoshanna seems adrift in life, and Jessa is uncaring and selfish.
