Power 50: Dustin Lance Black

Black had been busy with marriage equality activism, particularly as a founding board member of AFER, which fought Prop 8, but with the marriage movement in full swing, he has shifted his activist energies back to the screen: Black has six projects in the works for 2015 -- including a six-part gay rights miniseries for ABC, and films on both Bayard Rustin and the first trans MMA fighter, the latter project a partnership with Laverne Cox.
