Paul McCartney Tells How he Used to Masturbate with John Lennon

It’s unlike any masturbation session you’ve ever heard before…

In one of the best profiles of the past year, Paul McCartney sat down with GQ's Chris Heath to discuss some untold Beatles stories.

While the entire profile is worth the read, there's one section in particular that is quite amusing: Paul McCartney used to jack off with John Lennon and a few of Lennon's buddies.

"What it was," McCartney said, "was over at John's house, and it was just a group of us. And instead of just getting roaring drunk and partying -- I don't even know if we were staying over or anything -- we were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did."

The 76-year-old rock and roll hall of famer explained how the guys would shout out names to get them all a little more excited.

"We were just, 'Brigitte Bardot!' 'Whoo!'" McCartney said, "and then everyone would thrash a bit more."

One time, however, Lennon exclaimed "Winston Churchill!" much to the laugher of all the young men.

McCartney said this wasn't something that happened on a regular basis.

"I think it was a one-off," he said trying to remember. "Or maybe it was like a two-off. It wasn't a big thing. But, you know, it was just the kind of thing you didn't think much of. It was just a group. Yeah, it's quite raunchy when you think about it. There's so many things like that from when you're a kid that you look back on and you're, 'Did we do that?' But it was good harmless fun. It didn't hurt anyone. Not even Brigitte Bardot."

In another slightly less homoerotic story, McCartney explained how he and his bandmates would lie "on top of each other," during their tours in the middle of winter.

"It was the only way we could stay warm. We suffered for a while, just shivering, and then someone said: Well, why don't we...? So we did a Beatles sandwich."
