The eighth season of American Horror Story is fast approaching, and we're on the edge of our seats for its return. The past few weeks have given us a steady stream of updates about the show, including a return from the iconic Jessica Lange. But the announcement that the new season, entitled Apocalypse, will be a crossover of Murder House and Coven is likely the most exciting news of all.

And now we have a first look at the show's eery new aesthetic. FX has released the first teaser for Apocalypse, and it's about as demonic and end-of-the-world creepy as you'd expect from a season that revisits the young antichrist. It's all the skulls, scorpions, nuclear explosions, and satanic symbols we can take for a Monday.
