Diane Keaton, Kate Winslet, and Mia Wasikowska are teaming up for a remake of Bille August's Danish film Silent Heart, this time titled Blackbird.
Variety reports that Roger Mitchell is set to direct. Shooting will begin next month in London.
Here's the joyful premise: Keaton plays a terminally ill mother who invites her two daughters (Winslet and Wasikowska) home for one final weekend before she commits suicide.
Both Winslet and Keaton are Oscar winners, and Wasikowska has appeared to critical acclaim in films such as Albert Nobbs and Crimson Peak.
