Tyra Banks Filming Life-Size 2 Without Lindsay Lohan
For a generation coming of age in an era of reboots and remakes of their cherished childhood classics, the announcement of a Life-Size sequel in April refueled the inescapable culture of nostalgia indicative of the decade's media consumption and VSCO-grained photography.
However, a recent tweet by Tyra Banks may have quashed a long-awaited reunion with her former co-star, Lindsay Lohan, on Life-Size 2. Earlier today, Banks revealed that filming for the sequel has commenced, and that she would be co-starring alongside grown*ish's Francia Raisa instead of Lohan.
"Could not find one single woman more perfect to co-star with Eve than the magnificently fierce @franciaraisa," Banks said in her tweet.
The latest revelation that Lohan may not play a role in the film comes as a surprise after Banks mentioned the two were "slipping into each other's DM's a lot lately" to Entertainment Weekly.
In that same interview, the America's Next Top Model host also revealed that she initially turned down Life-Size 2 fifteen years beforehand.
Lohan has yet to release any statement regarding her potential presence or absence in the film.
Life-Size 2 will also have a more adult plot centering on Raisa playing a PR nightmare CEO of the toy company that produces Eve dolls, and will premiere on Freeform as part of its 25 Days of Christmas later this year according to a Freeform press release.
