Having 8 million YouTube subscribers comes with a fair bit of pressure--pressure to be empathetic, pressure to be fair and pressure to use your voice and platform for something larger than yourself.
Luckily, Tyler Oakley handles the pressure well and has a new partnership with the Trevor Project and Tumblr that is personal to him. After seeing the likes of Joe Biden, Jordin Sparks and Brittany Snow partnering with Tumblr's #PostItForward initiative, where people who have reached out share their stories to chip away at the stigma associated with seeking mental help, Oakley knew he had to get involved.

Partnering with one of his favorite charities, The Trevor Project, Oakley is calling for his fans to #PostItForward and talk about the hard topics. "I'd love to hear from young people about how they reached out for help, no matter what they were facing, and how it made all the difference," Oakley told OUT. "Hearing about how someone got through something similar to what you're struggling with can make people feel less alone--and sharing your story can make all the difference."
