To everyone's surprise, RuPaul announced yesterday on Hollywood Today Live that he's married to longtime partner Georges LeBar. The two wed this year on their 23rd anniversary, more than two decades after first meeting in 1994 on the dancefloor of legendary NYC nightclub Limelight.
"He doesn't care about show business at all," Ru said of his partner, who instead prefers spending time on his 60,000-acre Wyoming ranch--an isolated location where Ru says he still wears fabulous western-inspired looks. When fellow Drag Race judge Ross Mathews casually prompted the question, "Are you getting married?" Ru slyly responded, "We are married."

Following yesterday's reveal, which dropped like a glitter bomb on Ru's dedicated fanbase, the iconic drag queen posted to Twitter, "Thank you for all the love & kindness," and shared an old image of him and LeBar. Quoting '70s Motown group the Supremes, Ru added, "I cry not for myself, but for those who never felt the joy we felt." See, below.
