Artist/actress/model/fitspiration Teyana Taylor announced this week her longterm partnership with Reebok for the relaunch of its Freestyle sneakers. The "Faded" video star joins Reebok as an official ambassador, repping a brand she's been wearing since she was a 4-year-old. In an interview with Elle, Taylor said of the partnership, "It's like a dream come true because you would never think it would be possible."
The Freestyle sneaker is the first fitness sneaker designed especially for women and went on to become one of the most iconic sneakers in the industry. According to Taylor, the Freestyle "really opened the door for creativity in women's fashion, it gave permission for sneakers to be feminine. I'm honored to be the face of the Freestyle campaign for everything it stood for yesterday and what it still represents today."
Unfortunately, buying these shoes will not immediately get you Teyana Taylor's bod, but they're certainly a step in the right direction. Watch Taylor serve up vintage '80s vibes, below.
