While most of us were ringing in the new year with some champagne and an awkward Mariah Carey performance, Tom Hardy was helping children fall asleep. The Taboo actor dropped by BBC's CBeebies Bedtime Stories to read a children's book to their young viewers. It was actually pretty adorable.
Surrounded by stuffed animals with his dog Woody asleep in his lap, Hardy read You Must Bring a Hat. It's a cute story about a boy who needs a hat to attend a party but can't find one. So he somehow ends up requiring a monkey, a badger, an elephant, and a penguin to help him. Let's hope everyone else's New Year's parties weren't so hard to get into.
