ICYMI: Disney Releases the First Teaser Trailer for Moana

This winter when November cold has moviegoers huddling at home with Netflix, Disney is planning to send them on a tropical excursion.

Following in the footsteps of modern-day Disney heroines, Moana, like predecessors Brave and Frozen, doesn't look like it will be a love story at its core. According to IMDB, it follows Moana (Auli'I Cravalho), who "uses her navigational skills to set sail for a fabled island. Joining her on her adventure is her hero, the legendary demi-god Maui (Dwayne Johnson)."

Moana sails into theaters this Thanksgiving.
